My Birthday Girl

I am not 100% sure who authorized this, but Rory turned 6. This girl owns my heart..and can work my nerves like no one else. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Kissy Face

OK...can this kissy face boy be any CUTER???? I was shocked when his mom and dad told me he was only 17 months! He is such a little man...wanted nothing to do with the camera..and everything to do with the "sandbox" that is the Bosque. I still managed to catch his attention a few times. Such a beautiful family.

Meet Virginia

Viginia is just about the cutest girl in the world. She sang "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" to me..sucked her thumb (just like my Rory) and kept hugging the back end of her dogs. Her mom and dad are just in love with her. So am I.

Just To See Her Smile

My Rusty is having a hard time..and it's breaking. my. heart. I feel at such a loss as a parent and want to take all of her worries for her. So when Rod did the yard work this weekend and she LAUGHED and SMILED and JUMPED...my heart sang. So, please excuse this horrendously long blog post..but I could have posted 48373 more. Just to see her smile.

Golden Girls

Rod raked up 17 bags of leaves today...and I had to grab my camera. The girls had so much fun...I am going to try to do a whole blog post on today. But for now, just one.

Announcing...Lily and Abigail

I have been working so hard on a project that is coming out next month (I hope)..I can't wait to show everyone what it is! In the meantime, my sister-in-law had her babies! The twins had minds of their own and decided it was time to see the world 8 weeks early. They had to stay in the NICU for a few weeks, but they are home and healthy now! It was a good thing I shot Lori's maternity session when I did! I took these shots back in July, but wanted to wait until her announcement cards came! Here they are...

First Day of School

Rusty started 4th grade(WHAT??)..and Rory started Kindergarten (I swear, I just gave birth to her a few months ago). Rory came home and said "I don't like school, it's sooooo long..and I miss my family". Rusty couldn't wait to get there. After several hugs and a few tears, Rory walked with her class into the classroom. I was sad yet proud..ecstatic yet forlorn. Didn't realize how many emotions I would feel.
